Lazy afternoons at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery
Flights, Bocce, food trucks, and dogs napping in the afternoon sun makes lazy days even lazier (aka perfecto).
Midnight Cult Films at The Byrd Theatre
Actually, anything happening at the Byrd. Plus, Saturday night Wurlitzer performances before the films. Ahh nostalgia.

Drinking the best IPAs ’round these parts in tall fancy glasses.
7 Hills Scooter Club scooter rallies in the fall
During the first weekend of November, Richmond is overtaken by an army of Vespa’s for their annual city rally, Indian Summer. Long picturesque rides through the city, feats of skill in their obstacle course competitions, and general tomfoolery is had by all!
The Patio at Ardent Craft Ales
I love sipping beers with my friends on the patio at Ardent as the day wears on into the evening.
Flying Squirrels Baseball at The Diamond
Richmond summers are not complete without Flying Squirrels baseball. Especially on the 4th of July – FIREWORKS!!!
Walking with the undead at the Richmond Zombie Walk
THE best annual tradition here in Richmond to kick off the Fall holiday season. Get dressed up as the undead to walk the streets of Carytown or grab a patio spot with a drink at one of the restaurants along the route. Either way, it’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon in October.
Pinball at The Circuit Arcade Bar!
I’m sure there’s a beer (or 5) with my name on it as I squat on a pinball machine all night long! It’s either that or I visit my arcade nemesis, Dig Dug, for a few rounds. 😉
